Retractable dock door curtains move side to side unlike the roll up vinly doors. They are great for low traffic areas that don't require a lot of opening and closing. They are also less expensive and are great for very large openings. The dock door curtains are designed to give maximum temperature separation (which reduces heating and cooling costs) while giving maximum protection against insects, birds, rodents, or flying debris. Depending on your application we offer 2 types of retractable doors (Single or bi-parting).

Dock door curtains roll up to the side to offer an economical solution for keeping the elements such as snow, wind, rain out of your warehouse, dock loading zones and other internal areas. Each large curtain door is custom fit to your specific application for a perfect fit.

All of our commercial retractable door curtains come as a complete kit, custom made for your application. The curtain doors are easy to install and are designed to give many years trouble free operation. The commercial vinyl curtain doors can be either header or face of wall mounted and come with all the necessary parts for a complete installation.
Bi-Parting Door Operation – OptionalÂ
Manually operated, bi-Parting doors are fixed to both jambs and locks in the center. Leading edges of pipe staffs overlap to give complete seal. Nylon cord tieback straps on the fixed sides which keep the screen secure in the open position. The industrial dock screen is fixed/attached to one side of the opening and locks to the other side. The fixed side is determined from the access point and which side the door is sliding to open.

1 - Wall Mount | Attaches to the face of a vertical surface
2 - Ceiling Mount | Attaches to the underside of a flat surface
3 - I-Beam Mount | Attaches / clamps to a flange such as an I-beam

Heavy Duty Hardware
The hardware is made from galvanized steel and uses steel bushing rollers that glide with ease. There is no need to worry about push pull forces with these retractable dock door curtains. The hardware has a lifetime warranty and is made for the abuse which is typical at loading dock zones. All of the parts are stocked and can be replaced quickly if they happen to become damaged. Unlike roll up doors which can be more expensive to repair if they are damaged this hardware is very inexpensive.

Heavy duty ball bearing trolleys provide easy glide operation. Full height, heavy galvanized pipe staffs are placed evenly throughout the door, along with cane bolt floor locking pins, for superior wind stabilization.
