Hurricane-Rated Security Window Screens
PAYLON Hurricane-Rated Security Window Screens are the permanent solution for home and commercial windows to withstand high winds, flying debris, impact, forced entry and glass breakage. They stay in place all year, unlike temporary plywood or storm panels, yet allow natural light, air and visibility to the outside.
The screens are made from black woven stainless steel mesh, grade 304, and are fitted into a powder coated high strength aluminium frame. Fixed screens are for windows that do not need to be used for emergency access, whereas operable egress screens are able to swing open for emergency exit access. Each type is custom crafted to fit the size and form of each aperture.
Screens are available in white, bronze, beige and custom frame colors. Custom forms are available as arches, circles, hexagons, polygons and triangles. These screens provide reliable hurricane protection without altering the building’s appearance or daily operations, and are approved for FBC HVHZ and non-HVHZ uses, TDI evaluation, and performance exceeding SMA 60001.

PAYLON Roll-Up Hurricane Shutters offer robust, reliable protection for windows, doors, storefronts, service openings and other outside access points. Protect buildings from hurricane winds, driving rain, flying debris, UV exposure, pests and unwanted access, all the while providing a clean, compact installation.
Each shutter is custom built utilizing corrosion resistant steel components and can be offered with solid, vented or insulated curtain choices. Depending on size and application, the shutter can be operated manually with a push-pull system or chain hoist, or it can be motorized with an in-tube or external motor.
Roll-up hurricane shutters can be positioned inside the opening or directly on the wall. Optional controls include remote operation and key stations for easy access. Their low maintenance design, removable curtain pieces and bespoke sizing make them a suitable choice for commercial, industrial and residential hurricane protection.
