Paylon’s Roll Up Sound Doors are the perfect solution if you want to set up a reliable sound barrier against noise. These doors are also good for thermal and dust control.
The doors are constructed from a heavy gauge of galvanized steel. Also available in galvanized or stainless steel. The track system uses 12-gauge, U-channel steel track which boosts performance and security. Available as standard or optional insulated panels.
Available in a variety of materials including galvanized, prime painted, stainless steel, and aluminum.Our roll up sound doors will improve insulation for a R-value of 7.2 (U-factor of 0.139).
Sound Insulation
If we want to measure the level of sound insulation for doors, we can use the sound reduction index (Rw) and test value (Rw,P). (Rw) shows what the sound insulation level should be during installation. (Rw,P) shows what the sound insulation level should be under laboratory conditions. The test value should be 5 dB higher than the value you want.
